What we do

Nature Walks

Our experienced and knowledgeable walk leader will lead a guided walk in a place that is convenient to you, whether on a one-to-one basis or in small or large groups.

As we walk, we’ll watch birds and other wildlife and learn more about what we see and where to look. We’ll also learn about the plants that grow along the way: what we could eat, what plants were once used for and how they benefit us now.

Improving physical health through gentle exercise, we’ll also enjoy the benefits of the Vitamin D and the peace that escaping to a green space brings.

We’ll enjoy observing the seasons changing: new life in the spring, warmth and abundance in the summer, beautiful autumn leaves and the frosty days of winter.

We’ll always move at a pace to suit everyone.

Regular participants may nurture new friendships and feel less isolated, and we’ll always strive to be inclusive (but it may be necessary for a support worker to come along too if someone has additional needs).

If you can pay for this, please contact us for prices. We will apply for funding so that groups and individuals on tighter budgets are still able to enjoy these walks: please contact us or see our ‘Funding’ page and we’ll let you know what the current programmes are.

Corporate Days

A chance for teams to escape the work environment and bond with one another outdoors whilst making a positive difference. We’ll be happy to organise the right day (or half day) for you but suggest that a combination of a guided nature walk, a picnic and then litter picking or removal of invasive plant species is a good, constructive day out.

Please contact us for prices.

WildStrong

In the future we hope to be able to bring you this fabulous way to take your fitness to the next level by doing exercise activities outside. Watch this space!

What We Ask of You

  • Check the weather forecast and dress appropriately.
  • Bring water or a hot drink if you prefer.
  • Let us know any worries and we’ll aim to solve problems.

The Younguns

We are able to take youngsters (from playgroups upwards) out on nature walks and have worked with groups of four or five up to an entire class. Teaching our wee one to nurture nature and enjoy being outside.
